    From a friend:

PLEASE READ, THEN VOTE DAILY until MAY 23.

One of my co-worker quit awhile back. She found that her husband had a cancerous spot on his back about 9 months ago. They removed it and everything looked ok, then he found another spot that required chemotherapy. This just ended before Christmas and they were optimistic. But then they found another one, and after more testing found numerous sites.

They have only been married for over a year and her husband is not even 35yrs old. They were just starting their life together and now they give him a 5% chance. He is a very healthy altheletic guy that works for Trek and they rode everywhere, so this really hits home and makes you realize how short and precious life can be when someone who is young and healthy one day can be fighting for his life the next. They moved back to Colorado to be closer to his family.

Since this his cancer has moved to his brain and they have taken him off therapy and put him in hospice. However there is one thing he is trying to make it through and here is where you all can help. Please vote and pass this on to anyone you know. He has to be in the top 3! Below are details that his wife passed on to us:

    Quote:
I just wanted to send out a HUGE Thank You to everyone who's Cheered Travis and I on in the "Ride for LIVESTRONG" virtual bike race, we're currently in 5th place, and just a few Cheers shy of 4th place! (There's over 14,000 riders currently) If we get into the top 3, Travis' name will be on Lance's bike during the Tour de France! A few friends let us know that you can Cheer once a day, so if you have a chance to log on for 30 seconds, send a Cheer our way every day!

We've found this to be an amazingly cool bright spot to our day, and wouldn't be having this much fun without all of you, can't thank you all enough again for all of your support!
....as you can see he has jumped up to 4th so help him make it to 3rd!

Would love to vote, Robert. Link doesn't work for me though. Will try to find a working one.

This hits home as my sister-in-law passed away at the young age of 40 due to melanoma after a brave battle. Sorry to hear this sad news.
