Why do they keep remaking/rebooting 80's horror movies?

Post  RahimBhai on April 5th 2010, 11:25 pm

Halloween, Friday the 13th and now A Nightmare on Elm Street have all been remade/rebooted, I know Hollywood is running out of ideas, but come on! the 80's movies were classics!

    What do you think?
BQ: Who would win in a battle: Michael Myers, Jason, Freddy Krueger or Jigsaw from the Saw movies (another one that needs to end, but that's another story)?
