    2.1 set up

    currently looks like this:

In a few days, the x-ls will be replaced by another book shelf, which should be familiar to all of you, I think.
Can anyone guess what they're going to be? Smile

Looks fantastic! I LOVE the WSM X's. It was the reason I started looking at AV123 so many moons ago Very Happy

So what are you getting? Ref1's?

Nice! Those are fantastic Monitors. I really liked mine and regret selling them. They weren't really being used in my setup but its one of those speakers you really just need to keep around unless you're in dire straights. The ninja upgrade is supposed to make a night and day difference. I heard the upgrade on cburbs Ref1.5's and it was a dramatic improvement. Tighter more accurate bass response. The highs were tamed and much more neutral and the overall balance of the speaker was extremely refined. Just my 2cents on them Very Happy

Enjoy!! What are you doing with the X's?

    Hmm- thanks, man.
I really might get the ninja upgrade done..how much does it cost?
I have tested a pair of Ref-1s a long time ago with the music hall...luckily the MH has very NON bright highs, so I think the Ref-1 will be a good match....

you know - idk WHAT i am going to do with x-ls classics... i don't feel like getting rid of them..perhaps someday when we have a bigger place, and another system (we already have a good BR setup with my old but goody Onkyo mini system), I can put them to use...
I think the x-sub will be still needed with the Ref-1s...right?

I would continue to use your sub. They do have some bottom but do need a subtle kick...IHMO Wink
