    Fire sales at av321

    Post  Steve_vai_rules on March 11th 2010, 3:06 pm

Whats going on with all the super sales going on over there? is this like liquidating all stock and parts to pay off legal fees? or is it to just get as much money out of this sinking ship that they can and then just burn the building down collect on insurance and claim it was all just a bad dream?

    *sigh*

    Thoughts?

    Any word from mark yet?

Eh, hard to say. They've been doing the "firesale" thing for well over a year now trying to keep the ship afloat. Even during the good years it was generally not a good idea to pay MSRP if you know what I mean. It certainly sucks for resale value for those of us looking to move on gear-wise, lol.

I don't know what the future holds, but current circumstances can't be good for business, and they can't have much margin left to cut.

well and considering the packages they have... doesnt sound like they have much in the way of stock anymore...

elt's with an elt525m as a center channel?

x-statik ad voce but no omni's?.... it just sounds like they are burning off what inventory they have left...

Heh did you guys see that new Administrator posing as a cabinet builder on the forum? C'mon now...that's the plan for AV123? Deceive the customers and ignore the situation?

tadg is a product development manager..... how come no one has heard of him/her before... excuse my ignorance but wasnt mark the product development manager.. seeing as how all speakers from av324 are essentially built to his specs and under his guidance??
